It was 060110. I had graduated Air Force Basic Training a few days before this moment of satisfaction. Jaycee had just dropped me off from the airport. We had stopped by Walgreens on the way home to buy me some items. My family had yet returned home because they drove while I took the airplane. I was not able to drive back with them for safety reasons. Nevertheless I used this moment to watch television for the longest time. I ate whatever was in the refrigerator. I went to my room to lay on my bed. I knew I had no worries in the world. I had that moment “I was set.” I already had two years of college and was an Airman. I felt successful and I hadn’t even gotten my Nursing degree. 

Time flies. People change. That is alright.
